Born and raised in Canton, Ohio Tim has a love of the warm family environment that is a big part of his home town. A graduate of Oakwood High School and Kent State University Tim is also a former elder of First Christian Church and has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience.  Tim brings the Edgewood Community Center an infectious enthusiasm for building a vision to enrich the community’s physical, emotional and spiritual health. Married to Kathy Roshong with 2 kids and 3 grandchildren he understands the challenges kids and adults face in today’s crazy world and hopes his efforts at the Edgewood Community Center will help counter the negative trends in our culture and make positive impact on our community.

Denise Allen truly loves to share her passion of health and fitness with everyone!  She enjoys working with others to help them achieve their fitness goals by using her sense of humor and fun to keep it interesting. Denise is married to John and has 4 kids.  They all enjoy spending time together staying fit,  laughing and having fun!

Denise has been in the fitness industry for over 14 years as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer,  fitness coordinator,  fitness clinic instructor,  fitness director,  and personal training business owner. She has trained clients in private homes and is the founder of “Allens Army” running club.   Her certifications include NESTA Personal Trainer, Fitour Personal Trainer,  Fitour Group Exercise Leader, Fitour Primary Nutrition Instructor,  Gravity Training Systems Instructor and many YMCA certifications.

Denise’s favorite part of being a trainer and instructor is watching people transform their bodies and attitudes into something wonderful.  Her motto is to laugh and have fun while exercising!

Child Watch Supervisor
A native of Stark County, Cindy was a varsity basketball, track, & majorette at Northwest High School in Canal Fulton. With a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education / Sport Medicine from The University of Akron, Cindy is no stranger to the fitness center. Before starting a family, Cindy gained experience in childcare at KinderCare in Texas where she was lead teacher, later moving into retail management at Kaufman’s, Lord & Taylor, Foley’s, and Stein Mart (Cindy lead various teams to achieve corporate goals).  In recent years, Cindy was a lead room supervisor for the First Christian Church childcare program, next door to the community center. Cindy has been married for 13 ½ years to Joe and they have four wonderful children.   When she’s not watching your children at the Community Center you might find her cheering at a swim meet or watching a gymnastics class. Cindy also enjoys exercising, shopping, & baking.

Judy is married to Randy Hahn, Sr. They have two children and five grandchildren. Judy was born in Elyria, Ohio and came to Canton in 1972 after graduating from Muskingum College where she received a Bachelor’s Degree. Judy also has a Master’s Degree from Ashland University.  She has been teaching in the Plain Local School District for 33 years and is presently a Physical Education teacher at GlenOak High School.
 
Judy has always been active in athletics. She was involved with high school sports and played four varsity sports while at Muskingum College. She has also been a coach both on the high school level and the collegiate level. She was the head Volleyball Coach at Malone College for four years and while there she  was named the NAIA District IV Coach of the Year and lead the Pioneers to a runner up in the Region and missed going to Nationals by one match. She also was the head Volleyball Coach at Oakwood High School for three years and GlenOak High School for eighteen years. During that time she was named Federal League Coach of the Year several times, Stark County Coach of the year several times and State District 10 Coach of the Year. Judy has also coached on the Middle School level. Judy is currently serving as the Intramural Program Director for GlenOak High School and  the Chairperson for the Sporting Events for the Exceptional Olympics of Stark County.

When Judy has a few spare moments she enjoys playing golf and traveling with her husband, but most of all enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren.
